Just a dude tryin to grow veg

This is my first "blog" - and hopefully it will grow as my plants do.
I'm a beginner gardener and have "all the gear, no idea". I have toyed with the idea of growing my own veg, and watched a programme last year (2006) which really inspired me to get growing. It was called The Big Dig and followed two allotments - one in Wales, one in London and it looked really appealing so here we go....
